It regularly requires 3-5 days to handle a Free Application for Government Understudy Help (FAFSA) structure you submitted electronically. You can check the situation with your FAFSA structure after submitting it online. A paper FAFSA form is processed within seven to ten days of receipt by us.

You will receive an email notification with a link to your electronic Student Aid Report (SAR) at fafsa.gov if you provide a valid email address on your FAFSA form. You’ll help a paper SAR through postal mail if you still need to give a legitimate email address.

The Government managed retirement number on your FAFSA structure didn’t match what the Government backed retirement Organization had on record for you, or you still need to sign your FAFSA structure. Even if you did not submit your application online, you could check fafsa.gov to see if we processed it.

Note: Once your application has been processed (roughly 7 to 10 days from the date it was mailed), you can view its status online if you fill out the FAFSA on paper.

You can also call the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1-800-4-FED-AID (1-800-433-3243) to find out where your FAFSA form stands.

Check with the financial aid office at your school to see if financial aid has been disbursed (paid out) to you or your account.
